final blog ever!!!!

Right now I am trying to finish the article and then I will work on revisions and grammar and such. i'm trying to keep from being repetative and making the article long and boring. I like trying to reccap the concert while putting in my own little experiances and trying to have my voice in the article. So write now I will use revisions and finally finish my article

Proposal Blog

For my last piece i'm going to write a review on the Taylor Swift concert. I was thinking of not making it so much of a review but more like a little bit of a story too, and just give my take on things that when on during the show and how i enjoyed the concert. I was also thinking about including pictures I took and maybe a video. I'm not sure if I want to go into too much about Taylor's career in general, as some people suggested in class. I just want to stick to the concert

Right now I am still working on finishing my Alice piece. I'm pretty sure i'm in the middle of the story, and i'm trying to work around a few plot holes, which i fully intended to fill. So all in all it's coming along pretty well and i'm fairly happy with it. My main goal right now is just to finish the piece

For my piece, I'm going to write a continuation of my Alice piece. I still have several plot holes that I'm trying to figure out but i already know that the second installment will be longer than the first. I do have a set idea of how I want my piece to end. I don't really have questions or need a lot of feedback because it's mostly something that I have to write on my own

Quarter Reflection Blog

I really enjoyed everything that we did in this quarter. I really enjoyed working with various types of articles from editorial, to reporting, and i enjoyed doing a creative article this time around. I also really enjoyed working with Stephanie on the Tower Players article. I feel that it really helped me practice my skill with writing reportive articles. My favorite was deffinatly my fan fiction because i really enjoy writing creative stories, and i love Alice in Wonderland =D. I also like having the installment because it's something a bit different to add to the paper. I'm excited to continue my story next quarter, but anxious about what to write for the other articles.

this recent article was easiest for me because i enjoy creative writing. I chose to write about Alice in Wonderland because it's one of my favorite stories and since the new movie had just come out, it was relevant. The only issue i had with writing the piece was grammatical errors, which were fixed once we did the peer review

I'm still thinking of something to write about. I want to do something creative and maybe something with Disney because i love it so much. I liked your idea of writing my own fan fiction though to make it a continuation for my other piece. I'm still looking at my options

Wave 2 progress blog

As of now, i have gotten the chance to interview Mama J for my article and have added that new paragraph in. I'm still trying to decide how to end the piece because it probably wont be up on the site before the opening of the Musical. i'm thinking of taking Torie's suggestion of adding my own personal experiance with Tower Players for the end, but i'm still thinking of a way to connect that to the rest of the piece. I was also thinking about maybe interviewing one more senior, but i'm not sure of that would be overkill or not.

proposal blog wave 2

For my article, i'm doing a joint project with Stephanie Russo. We're going to do a behind the scenes on the Tower Player's production of Fiddler on the Roof. She's taking care of tech crew and costumes, and i'm doing dance, acting, and singing. For my article i will probaly interview Mrs. Van deSande, Mrs. Marinov (Rizzo), and Mama J. I was also thinking about getting contrating views of the show from a senior and a freshman to see their experiances with tower players. Stephanie and I are also hoping we can videotape a number from rehearsal to put on the site to get people excited for the show.

Right now i have looked up different stories on fan fiction and seen the type of content that i was surprised to see written about, such as Plays/ Musicals. Even old classic book have their own fan fiction. Right now i am typing up a draft with a brief summary on fan fiction, and why it is so popular

For my new piece, i was thinking of either doing a story on Broadway shows and all the ones that are closing, or possibly a piece in how popular fan fiction has become due to the successful books, movies, and animes. I'm still trying to decide between the two.

Reflection blog, wave 2

My original idea for this wave ended up not working out, so the last week i ended up writing an entirely new article, which i liked much better than my original idea. My new article was An Open Letter to the Twilight Haters. One thing i learned from this experience is that I should always have a back-up plan in mind just in case a situation like this arises again. I think my weakness while writing my article was thinking of how to make it funny and yet relatable to people. In the end, i think i accomplished the goal though
